L3301
Hey everyone this is my second tractor. Upgrade from a John Deere 2305. What do you all think? Any tips with this tractor?

I have the same one. I like it a lot.

Here's my thread.
Kubota L3301HST/LA525 modifications
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=350543

The HST will easily override the parking brake. You will learn the rise in the whine of the hydraulics pretty quick as a tell tale the brake is on.
Don't take the loader off on uneven ground. You'll hate yourself.
Move the rear wheels out to the max setting if you do any slopes.

Things on my list but not done yet.
Get the right side grab handle for a 3901. It'll bolt right up.
Make a brush guard of expanded metal since I use a grapple.
Then as it was said. These guys will show you all kind of ideas that will make the ol billfold cry!

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Enjoy the site and your new rig. Congratulations.

Congrats! I have the L3901...same tractor, more HP. You will love it. Couple thoughts:
-Your rears may already be widened from what it looks like in the pic, but if not and as was already said, huge difference in stability so I would widen if needed
-Get some bucket hooks
-Consider adding mats to the floor deck before you give it much use. It will not only protect from wear, but it also makes for a better gripping surface. Low cost do-it-yourself with a rubber stall mat and bolts.
-As was said, get the right fender handle, especially if planning to use rear implements. This overpriced part is well worth it.
-You may find the seat cut off switch to be annoying; one low cost zip tie later and frustration gone....(You may hear from the safety police on this one)
-Run at higher RPMS as recommended to reduce the frequency of regens. Seems counter intuitive, but the engine is designed to run this way for a reason
-I could certainly help you spend more of your money with additional ideas, but the last tip is to just enjoy your new machine!!

Had the tractor for a week now. Everyday I've had off its been muddy and raining  First thing is to get my driveway and farm paths in shape.
