HI,
I'm not only new to the forum, but new to the world of tractors. I recently purchased a Kubota BX23S as a means to make the wooded portion of our property more useful. We have 5 acres, all sloping, with a bit over 3 of it wooded with a creek at the bottom. We are flanked by 2 farms so are property is a corridor for deer.
The first task I'm working on is cutting a road/trail so that I can get the tractor to the bottom of the woods to clear out dead trees and under growth, as well as putting in a food plot. I've been taking my time with the trail, learning what I can do with the tractor in the process. So far, I wouldn't consider it work...I'm having too much fun.
I'm sure I'll pickup some great info from the forum and hope I can answer questions soon as well.
Thanks,
drb1215 (Dan)
