I have just purchased a new (to me) tractor. It is a 1981 International 240 A Payloader. I also just picked up my new trailer to haul it on. Just to head this off at the pass, I will get pics up as soon as I get back out to the land and it quits raining. The real bummer is that the tractor got delivered on Friday, and no seat time yet. My dad, who owns the land that it is sitting on right now has tore up some cactus w/ it but that is all so far. Anyway, I am just a proud new poppa and wanted to share. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Fireshawn,
Congrats on the new machine. I know how you feel about wanting seat time. I just ordered my tractor today and will be about a 1 to 1 1/2 weeks until delivered. My problem is the weather was beautiful today and it would have been great to get on board. Looking forward to pictures.

Congratulations Fireshawn. That's a great tractor and you're really gonna have a ball with it. I'm sorry you can't get on it right away, I know it kills me not to get on mine every day. I never enjoyed doing all this work quite so much as I do now. ENJOY! John

Well I finally got to play on Friday night. Used the FEL to fill in some ruts in the driveway to the workshop/tractor shed. And I finally got some pictures. My wife took these while I was working on the fences.

Good Luck with it - I use my FEL for a lot - I'll bet you'll find all kinds of uses for it. How much does your loader weigh and what type of trailer did you get? Just curious - I need to get one.

Take Care,

Well the tractor w/ loader specs at about 6500 pounds, but the rear tires are filled so I don't know what the actual weight is. The trailer is a 14K gooseneck, 20'+5' dovetail. A little bit of overkill, but I should be able to haul whatever I need to on it.
