Kubota L3430
So been looking at tractors for a while, and rented a few to get some of the big projects done (mini ex and a Cat D4K dozer), but finally found a little Kubota for ranch maitnance and do some more little clearing project around the property. Anyways, found a L3430 HST with a Woods 1016 loader, 4 in 1 bucket, Woods BH9000 hoe with a 12" and 18" buckets, top-n-tilt kit and a set of forks for $12k. 3400 hours on it, tires are in decent shape, guy had all service invoices and just had a new HST put in by the dealer... I know its higher hours but Im not going to be putting a ton on it, and with the new tranny I am not all too worried about it... How did I do?

Anyways the controls on the backhoe are setup using a Deere pattern (dipper on the rt and boom on the left), Im used to running a Cat pattern (boom on the rt and dipper on the left). How do I switch patterns?

I think you did pretty well as the loader and back hoe if in good cond. make up a good part of the $12 grand . The service records on the tractor mean a great deal too .

If theres room you could swap hoses on work ports might be issue if valve has a pressure adjustment for each stack I don't know but let me know if this seems possible

So emailed Woods, they responded super quick..

If you are trying to convert to Cat controls you need to restack the valve sections, not just move the hoses. If you move the hoses you will not have the proper relief valve with the proper backhoe function and do damage to the backhoe.

Done, works like I wanted, sweet now I have my beloved Cat controls. Backhoe performance is decent, never ran a kubota backhoe, but cant operate the boom while using the swing, and if using the boom an dipper while trying to curl the bucket, the curl goes slow. Not sure if thats normal, assuming it is being a smaller tractor than Im used to and not a huge hyrdo system like a mini ex or full size backhoe....

Nice machine, and a nice "big" bucket.
