Thought I would post up some of the things I see people having trouble with that you could check.
Seems like 9 times out of 10 if it is not one of the safety sensors ( there's a bunch of them ) it is something to do with the fuel or fuel delevery system. I would start checking the sensors first to rule that out first. There is a seat safety sensor, a pto sensor and a hydro peddle sensor that often cause trouble. Normally they will cause a complete shut down but worth checking.
Also the battery terminals are notorious for corroding. It can't be seen unless removed so remove inspect and clean them and replace them if necessary. If the tractor has been exposed to weather depending on year the keyswitch will also be a problem area. Many guys have good luck by spring fluid film or some other type of lubricant in the key socket. I try to keep that area dry or covered possible. The last thing I can think of besides the fuel system is The exhaust system maintenance. Not sure if yours has it but my ct 225 has a bolt on the bottom of the muffler. This is supposed to be removed and cleaned out at certain maintenance intervals. Seems like it's probably a longshot but I suppose if it was clogged up it would cause the problems you're having also. It is very difficult to remove so make sure the exhaust is as warm as possible when you try.
These are the easy things that I can think of to check if it is none of these I would lay my money on something to do with the fuel system or fuel system delivery. Keep us posted what you find and good luck.
