New to me 1720, ID year?

I have a new to me very well used Ford 1720, was trying to find out the year, looked up the serial number that go with the different years on tractor data but none match mine ? The tag on mine says UL27694 and from tractor data:

1987: UL21001
1988: UL22701
1989: UL26556
1990: UL28601
1991: UL30784
1992: UL32230
1993: UL33920
1994: UL35013
1995: UL36435
1996: UL37607
1997: UL38466
1998: UL40069
1999: UL41414

What am I missing?

Just guessing -- could the last digit represent the month of manufacture? If so, the tractor would have been built in April.

Yours is a 1989. It falls between UL26556-1989 and UL28601-1990. To find out exactly what day and month it was made, read the date code which is co-located with the s/n and will start with 9. It will be 9, then a letter which represents month, then 2 numbers that represent the day. The months are A through M, skipping I as it looks like 1, representing January to December.
