Tractor
Kubota L3200
Hello to all, I sold my YM 2000 which I had for 13 years, it was a very dependable, reliable tractor. But it was time to upgrade, I wanted a tractor with 4 wheel drive and a FEL. I am very happy to say I purchased a L 3200 Kubota. I researched Kubota, Branson, Mahindra. Of all the details of operation of a tractor, the details kept bringing me back to Kubota. The dealer is 28 miles from me, 0% financing, Kubota reliability all pointed the decision making it easy for me to buy a Kubota. There is a big difference from what I was accustomed to, L3200 is a bigger than my Yanmar, the power is greater, Hydraulics are super. I went out and played with it today, trying to get used to the FEL. I hated to sell my Yanmar, but I sold it to a friend who very interested it in. All my attachments are 4', I have to get 5' equipment, as far a bush hog goes. I was on the Yanmar forum for about 12 years, and now switching brands and jumping on this bandwagon! Thanks for reading, Take care all!

Nice step up. Glad to see the Yanmar went to a good home too. Pictures? We like pictures.

The L3200 is quite a tractor and I'm sure you'll enjoy using it for years to come....Congratulations!

Think about a grapple if your FEL is SSQA you won't know how you did with out it. you will have to add third function valve or diverter to hyd enjoy

Welcome to the orange side of the tracks. As others said, you'll love it. I've had mine for a couple of years and it replaced a B7500 I had for 10 years that was similarly equipped. Best description was made by a brother-in-law who borrowed it - "This is really beefy". It's larger, more powerful and more comfortable to operate. With the 6' RFM it mows 3-1/2 acres in the same time it took me to do 2-1/4 acres with a 5' RFM on the smaller tractor.

This is what I like about this web site, everybody has good advice, experience to share. Thank you AStanton for that piece of advice, I must admit I am a little intimididated by it's power. First time owning a tractor with a FEL, and always heard about Kubota's great hydraulic power. I have had experience with driving tractors, when I lived in Illinois, I would help Aunt/Uncles do some farming, in the spring one set of Aunt / Uncle had red tractors, in the fall, the other set of Aunt / Uncles had green. I have had the liberty of operating 3 JD 4020's. 1 was gas, 1 was diesel, & 1 was LP. Call me crazy, but I love the smell of diesel! Thanks for all the advice, as soon as I learn how to post pics, will do. Take care all.

Congratulations on a great machine. Not to derail your post, but I notice by the sticker on the loader, you bought from Rhinehart. I'm thinking of buying an RTV from them, and was wondering what your opinion of them is? I've only had contact with them through e-mail, which I admit, they reply to very promptly, but wanted a first hand opinion.

Excited to find this forum. Waiting on delivery of my BX 1870 on Friday. My Craftsman Lawn Tractor recently gave up. Checked into the green machines but didn't want plastic. Decided I needed something more substantial (like orange...to bad it's not Burnt Orange) to help with chores besides mowing 5 acres. With goats and chickens, we have a lot of potential compost but can't physically turn my windrows. A lot of other labor intensive work that my body can't do by itself including moving snow. Getting loader, 48" mower and grapple for now. Box blade will be on my Christmas list. Look fwd to reading previous posts and participating in future ones.

Welcome aboard TxRanger! You're gonna love it! My only advice, if it isn't too late, is maybe the 54" mower instead of 48". I thought my 60" was too big, but now I love it, and I don't mow anywhere near 5 acres.

It was a good experience for me. I spoke with Bailey Wright, cute as a bug little country girl, very pleasant to talk to, the delivery man Mr. Owens was exceptional in delivery on time, went over paperwork, gave very instructions on operation of equipment. There no high pressure salesman trying to sell every piece of equipment on the yard! From my experience 5 star rating. I have been living here in Ga. for 25 years, Rhinehart has always been in Rome, they have relocated about 10 years ago. In the past they used to sell Ford tractors. I sincerely think you will be happy with dealing with them. Take care and be safe and mostly Thank you for your service!

You should be well pleased with your new tractor . I have had 4 kubota's over the years and was and am happy with them all . The B2650 is the newest addition and will get lots of use this winter with the front snow blower and cab .I must say I really like the ride quality of my M5700 over the smaller tires etc. on the 2650 .Your L series should do just fine in that department .Some of my property is a little rough so the smaller tractor can bounce you around a little .
