I was just gifted a bx1860 w 1260 hrs and is a 2010 model I believe since bought in 2011. Looks impeccable and was diligently maintained. Has only a mmm. Want the loader capability. Before I buy a loader, or any attachments eventually, I want to find out if it would be too much for tractor or if better to get Kubota or aftermarket? Also what is your experience w your BX1860 and what to avoid and what to exploit. This thing will literally extend my life as am in poor health and constant repairs just to mow the grass has been a struggle to say the least as of late. Was also gifted an electric start walk behind snow blower which may keep me from laying in driveway like last time I shoveled snow. Any experience you can share appreciated. Thanks

That was my first tractor, great little machine. I upgraded to the 25 for the back hoe but other than that the capabilities seemed the same. I would lean toward a kubota loader, but right now whatever you can find that will work should be considered.
What things do you want it to do? A boom pole might be good for you, more lifting power than the FEL in some cases.

Right now lots of supply chain issues as Sea2summit mentioned. Get what you can...maybe even check CL, Facebook Market, tractorhouse.com, local for a used loader and you "might" get lucky. I believe it is model LA203.

Current property is small so snow removal and relocation will be primary use. but we may be moving out west again w daughter sharing land w separate housing and want the potential to utilize minor digging and grading capability after renting dozer or track loader for initial grading. Wife and I will then primarily use it to feed a small hobby wash plant for gold operation

Mostly snow removal and relocation till we relocate to desert. I can now sell all the attachments and mowers that have been the Bane of my existence. I will use that money to get attachments.
Thanks. I’m assuming like most other quality brands it’s best to stay w in-house engineering. But being a rookie Kubota owner and wanting to take advantage of its capabilities I like to educate myself. I know it mows great!!
