I sign the papers today on my new TC55DA EHSS with 270TL QA loader, brush guard, right side step, and Bradco brush grapple! I almost bought a JD 4120 last year, but put it off a year due to finances.
This will be my 3rd summer at my current place and I just couldn't wait any longer to get out there and start working.... tons of brush piles, dead trees, and rocks that need moving. I couldn't pass up the finance deals on the TC55DA, along with the fact that neither JD or Kubota had a directly equivalent machine (deluxe compact with 55 horse, other than the new GrandL 40's which they weren't dealing on).
And my dad said if I ever moved somewhere with soil that I'd have a decent hobby farm tractor too, so hopefully this tractor will last me a lifetime (just like my grandpa's old 2cyl Deeres).
Stay tuned for operating reports over the next couple weeks.
