I have been looking for a good used TC45 and although I found some they weren't configured like I wanted it to be and the prices were ok but not a steal. With the 0% finance deal it was more attractive to buy the TC40 new and get it like I wanted it.

Ag-tires 14.9x24
16LA loader
72" HD bucket & Quick Attach
2 rear remotes
4 rear weights (420 lb total)
front brush guard
Folding ROPS
Deluxe 3PH

Out the door price including everything $23,500, this also is not a steal but seemed like a fair enough price. Checked two dealers and prices were pretty close to each other.

Now I'm trying to figure out what style grapple to get. Majority of the use would be logs and brush with a few rocks thrown in on occasion.

You're going to love the machine and you're smart to order it with remotes and a QA attachment. Post some pictures if and when you get it.

There are a lot of choices for a grapple. Just keep in mind that your loader is rated for about 2000 pounds. You'll need to subtract the weight of a heavy grapple to the above figure, so I would recommend looking at one that's not to weighty for your lifting needs.

I agree with PineRidge. I just purchased a TC40DA and got the 2 rear remotes and QA plus all of the other options you mentiond. Yes, it did get pricy, but at 0% and for a long term investment, I wanted as much as reasonably possible.

As for the grapple, I purchased an Add-a-Grapple ( Grapple ). It bolts onto the bucket and can be removed by pulling pins. I also saw other styles that cheaper, but they are welded onto the bucket. They might be a better choice because there would be less weight.

Either way, the grapple is wonderful for moving logs, grabbing brush piles, moving rocks, etc. Highly recommended.

Cool! Your search is over, Jim. Congratulations!

Whether you chose to add a grapple to your bucket or get a stand-alone grapple, I can tell you it turns your whole tractor into a very powerful "robot hand" for gripping and moving things you could never do with a bucket alone. It's like a real-life video game.:)

You will love that machine. That motor just purrs. I have no complaints about mine yet. Enjoy it!!!

I've got a DX29 with the QA bucket on the LX114 loader. I also got the Add-a-grapple, and I can tell you it's about as handy as a pickup truck. I do a lot of moving brush, logs, rocks, and manure. The single grapple adds about 150 lb to the weight of the bucket, but once you get used to it you don't notice it. I also have a homemade little rig that's kind of like a toothbar with extra long teeth that I made up for my B7100. When I bolt that to the bucket bottom with the grapple on top, it really works well. I just position the teeth next to a log with the bucket fully dumped then close the grapple jaws while rolling the bucket back. The log is picked up neat as can be. If it's a bigger one that I think I might lose, I raise it in full roll back position until I'm sure it will roll toward me, then open the grapple. The log rolls back into the curve of the grapple, I close it, lower everything, and I'm good to travel over my hilly ground, snake the thing between trees, lift it over fence posts, and so on. It's also very nice for moving brush - whole piles can be moved in one or two bites.

My bucket is 60" wide. With your larger bucket, I'd consider getting the double. I would also look into two valves so you can close one side at a time.

It can pick up manure????? This I have to see, as I thought trees and brush, but never manure.

I would like to see whatever is making that manure which is big enough and solid enough to pick up with the grapple!
