New T2290

Wow, that's a lot more reasonable than I expected. How is the frame on it? C-channel, box, stamped? That ought to last you a long time.

My T2290 has been a really good mower so far. It' funny you should ask, cause I just got a survey from Kubota about my ownership of 2 years. My biggest complaint from day one was that the seat doesn't go back far enough. I am 6'2" and I am constantly banging my knees on the steering wheel every time I get on and off the mower. I have to figure out a way to increase the leg room on the seat. Other than that its been great so far. I have 92 hours on it now. The manual says to change oil every 100 hrs., but I do it every 50. I run Mobil 1 oil and a Wix filter. Just routine maintenance with no issues.

I really appreciate you're feedback, and I'm happy to hear you've had a good ownership experience thus far. I looked at one recently and couldn't believe how high the seating position was, it was quite comfortable.

I finally moved my seat back. I removed the 4 bolts that hold the seat on, and drilled 4 more holes to the back. I picked up 2 1/2" in leg room. I also by-passed the switch under the seat too. No more banging my knees into the steering wheel.
