Do a search on "Pole Barn(s)". You'll get tons of information. Gerard

Cleary is a good company. They contract out their crews meaning the crews do not work for Cleary but are independent so make sure the work is what you want.

Go to the kissin' cousin of this board at countrybynet.com. They have a forum called barns/buildings that discusses pole buildings.

WiJC; When you said shed, that's what I thought you posting about. If 30X50 is a shed, what's a real barn look like in Wisconsin? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
In you area there is most likely a number of builders around that might even save you some bucks. I'd check locally before contacting a national size company. Good luck with what ever you work out. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

well...it started out as a "shed"...but as they say...you can never go too big! hence it has grown since then /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i am getting details/prices from cleary, walters, and lester buildings. i also got a quote from the local menards for the materials and it wasnt far off from what the others were quoting me for materials only packages.

WiJC; It wouldn't be much of a surprise that they would get the materials from Menards themselves. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Then you'll be paying for labor, and probably a payout to the whatever national company you may choose. Think I'd check out some of the locals. Maybe like the rest of us, you know others that could recommend a local builder. A lot of those guys this time of year might cut you a good deal. The big companies sound good, but if they use local labor, why can't you? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good friend bought a building from Menard's. It's great, he was really happy. He had a crane set the trusses, the rest he did himself with help from friends.
