Well, I have just put some money down on a new rtv 900. I couldn't resist the 42 months 0% interest rate. They will probably be delivering it by this comming weekend. I am a little nervouse after seeing an earlier thread about Kubotas customer service, or lack there of. I'm hopeing that there will be no issues with this unit! I paid $11,840 for it. It is the worksite model, and the extras are: glass winshield, plastic top, hand throttle, and 4 new mudlite xtr tires on new Kubota steel wheels ( the plain looking wheels that come with the units ). It has the worksite tires on it now, so the atv tires and wheels are in addition to that. Does that sound like an ok price? Oh, the tires are being sold to me at cost. The price for each tire without the rim is $135 ea. I know it is a great deal on it around here, but I'm not sure how it compares to where everyone else lives. Oh, he is delivering it to me for $60 ( He wanted $50 but I added an extra $10 for him ) and I live almost an hour and a half from his dealership.

135.00 a tire sounds high unless i'm thinking off the wrong tire.if your going with the same size tire then they are too high a 25"xtr is 102.00/110.00 now the 27" xtr's are 133.00 thats with free shipping . but let us know how you like the rtv and post some pictures of the beast.

Although others have had trouble with Kubota. I have had very good response from them. As I said in another thread, they replaced all the tires and wheels that were leaking air, they replaced the hood, and after the warranty was up they fixed the reservoir brackets.
If you go and look up the reviews for the 900 you'll find people that really like them and some that don't care for them at all. You'll have to determine your feelings after using it for a while.

I'm very happy with our RTV !!! Never has had any trouble. Cannot imagine not having one now..... Not saying there are not other good UTV's on the market, But Kubota RTV's will be the only machines on our farms & plantations . They serve us well for our applications ~~~~
We also use some Honda Rubicons out there on the place ~~

Fortunately Kubota builds a nice product and you shouldn't have any issues. My take is that Kubota is poorly equipped to handle problems when they do pop up and suck getting back with their customers. The 900 should have all of the bugs worked out and, even after all the trouble I've had with Kubota Corporate, I'll state that the RTV's are extremely tough. As much as I like JD, and as much as I've spent with JD, I would buy another Gator in a flash if I believed they had a product that could compete with the RTV series. In my opinion I think the JD is more in competition with the Artic Cats and Polaris units. If you bought your RTV for durability and work, I don't think there is anything better available. Maybe if I had a dealer who would just throw a huge fit with Kubota corporate when I had issues things could have been different. My dealer tried to help, but I don't know how much they really pushed Kubota. Either way, it cost them a new tractor sale to me as well as to one of my employees.
