Well after a couple of weeks of due diligence I made a decision today. The ck20hst w/mmm and fel. also a rear blade and a 50" tiller. I still need to make up my mind about tires turfs or ind. I will do a lot of mowing and the ground is sometimes a little wet. (at least this year) My ground is solid clay so when it rains it doesn't soak in good and lays on top a little. also because this is a heavy puppy should I have the tires filled ? I really looked hard at all the tractors I could I started with the sub-cuts and graduated to the cuts looking at the Agco st25, the Kubota 7510 and the Ck20. The final factor was the heavier tractor from Kioti vs the lighter ladder framed 7510. and a good local dealer. I ended up at 15,000 + tax vs 15;950 + tax for the 7510. the st25 fell out of the picture because of price and too much weight. I think I had these dealers down as low as they were going and these were final offer pricing. anyhow I am looking forward to the spring projects now and getting the new pup home.

I have alot af clay too. I've got the Industrial tires and I left tracks already. Though they really don't seem to be any worse than the turf tires I have on my mowing tractor. The way I see it, a rut is a rut. Hope this helps you.

Congratulations eieio. Welcome to the pack. If you enjoy your CK20 half as much as I do mine, you'll be ecstatic!! Start reading the owners manual as soon as possible and make sure you try to stick to the 50 hour break in period for longer life of your tractor. We're here if you have questions. John

I have the same soil make up and am glad I have turfs, no steep hills or fields to cultivate... so turfs for me.

Did you ever get a price on the four? Thanks, John

Eieio,

If its got turfs, it's a lawnmower. If its got R4's, it's a tractor . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
