CK30 HST with FEL
Well she came home on Friday.
We are excited to annouce we are the proud owners of a shining new CK30.

No time yet to play much so far, as we are cleaning up the house we just purchased. But plan to dig some post holes for the new deck soon.

Very happy with our dealer and the machine so far.

Just need more time.

Many thanks to the form for helpping out, we will be reading and posting more questions.

Cheers

Congrats and Welcome to the Pack!

That CK30 sure is a nice looking tractor, are you planning on purchasing a post hole digger for the 3pt hitch? I am curious how well it works compared to a handheld unit as I plan on installing some fence this year.

Will be using a friends 3PH Post Hole auger. I have used one years ago on a small tractor and excited to see how the ck30 does.
We are putting in a deck and need lots of holes. Hope to get at it early next week.
Looking forward to get some dirt on the machine.

Cheers

I will join others in welcoming you to The Pack.
I too am looking at redoing/enlarging my deck, keep us posted how well your PH digging goes. What kind of PH digger are you using, what is the diameter of the auger, what is your soil like?

Congrats and welcome to the pack.
I can say that my CK30 has no problem at all with the PHD.
If you are not careful, it will dig so far down you will need a shovel to get the auger out :(
Of course, then it takes a little longer to backfill the humongeous hole.
Have fun.

I've also got a CK30 and have dug alot of holes between the deck, barns and pasture fencing. I couldn't believe how well it dug into the clay where I am with a 12" auger, now I look for reasons to dig things :D. Welcome to the pack, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do.

Congrats. Me too on the PHD. I've installed 500+ feet of split rail and bored foundation holes for my leanto. Worked effortlessly. My PHD is a Bushhog 2102.

Fantastic and congratulations! Be careful with the PHD, they say they are one of the more dangerous implements. You will love your tractor!!!!:D:D

Cape b,Well, although this doesn't have anything to do with this, just thought I'd add,a ck30 IS a small tractor. I got one.
and after about 70 hours, really like it still. Seat area is not quite wide enough for me[leg rubs hi/lo shifter more than I like]Hydro filter underneath looks like an accident waiting to happen, but after tilling in some rough deep plowed ground and hogging grass for several hours, not a scratch, yet],other than that, can't find one other thing I can complain about!

Very smooth, powerfull and pretty quite operating motor, started easy all winter too.. Love the gears and shuttle shift, and think I am really going to like the loaded industrials better than ags. 3 point is smooth and not jerky.

Speaking of tires,I'm running 19 psi in loaded back ones, seems thats working pretty good as far as ride and traction, titan man said he wouldn't recommend going below 20 on rears, bet you could go down even futher than me,without to much worry of tire coming unseated or spinning on rim,but think I'll stay about 19psi.

I'm a new CK30 owner too and I only WISH I could use an auger on my property. My subsoil is very rocky and it just doesn't work very well. Most of that kind of work is behind me now though. About three years ago I put in 650 feet of cedar fence and had to dig all 65 holes by hand. Couldn't even use a post hole digger. Used a digging bar and a hand scoop. When I tried using a power auger it would just spin out and tear up the hole every time it hit a rock. Believe it of not it finally became easier to do it by hand. I hope you have better soil than I do, and it looks like you do.
