A friend of mine who lives in Fla was trading his 1999 F150 xtra cab 4x4 lariat. 5.4 V8 auto 156k miles. ... dealer offered him $1.00 for it... it runs great, zero zero zero rust and no dents. But It did need TLC. I bought it for 2k and had it shipped up to Mass. since getting it and going through it I have replaced the front seat covers ( original leather was shot ) headliner, door panel vinyl inserts, radio, rear axle seals and rear break shoes, painted the entire truck, cables on rear suicide doors, fan blower resistor, blend door and actuator, front lower belt tensioner, center console lid, headlights, windshield washer squirters, and probably a few other parts I'm forgetting. At this point I'm in it for about $7500.00. More money than it would book for but it's a solid truck that runs great. Pics later on once I get a few good ones.

It will probably last longer than a 2019, and at 1/8 the price. As long as you don't mind giving up HID/LED headlights, BlueTooth and an additional 3 MPG.

I put a BT radio in because the factory unit failed a number of years back. No led headlights though. ��
