New Musclecar Era?

With GM's announcement that the GTO is coming back (one worthy of the moniker) and Ford following suite with their announcement of the Mach 1, could this be the beginning of another musclecar era?

The GTO will be built in Australia (400HP, rear-wheel drive Holden platform). 20,000 units a year.

Rumor has it that there will be HEMI Powered Grand Cherokee for 2004. Just doesn't seem right?

The mach 1 looks nice but i dont like the others. They just look too modern. Id rather have a 92 or 69 camaro or 80's mustang. They just look better

Have you seen the Ford GT40? It's based on the 1960 Lemans racer. Planned introduction is 2003. Cost is unknown. Supercharged 5.4 liter V8, 500hp @ 5250 RPM. 500 ft-lb torque @ 3250 RPM. Four valve cylinder head and dual overhead cam. No three point hitch./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
