Arc weld
Veteran Member
Hi, I just signed up on your forum on the advice of Shield Arc. We've always got along great. He says you have a lot of fun here. I also know Chuck and maybe a few others from another forum. About me? I've been welding on and off since 1981 and have worked in a lot of different industries. Mostly oilfield since I'm in Alberta. I am a licensed Red Seal journeyman and have worked on pressure vessels and piping up to 2 3/4" thick. Pressure tickets have to be renewed every 2 years but currently I'm working in welding sales. I also have 80 acres of land that run a motocross track on and have done some landscaping. Machines I have include an MF 135UK diesel, Thomas T133 skid steer, Cat 931B track loader c/w backhoe, and a 1961 Lincoln SA 200 Red face welder.
I try to give honest and accurate advice if you're looking for it and sometimes if you're not. I don't like to see people waste their money and/or time on something that won't work or isn't worth doing. As Shield ARC would agree, I'm not a big fan of buzz boxes but will still help you if you own one.
So when does the party start?
