John Deere 345
Finally joining after reading so many threads. I just bought a John Deere 345 to replace the problematic Cub Cadet RZT that will hopefully sell soon.

Living up North in MN, hopefully the Deere will give me many years of problem free mowing.

Thank you,
Jeremy

It might be a good idea to check to see if your 345 has had the fuel filter update. Some of the early 345 tractors had a fuel filter leak which caused gasoline to drip onto the muffler resulting in a number of fires. I believe Deere re-routed the fuel line so if a fuel filter failed gasoline wouldn't come in contact with a hot muffler. I believe this was only a problem on the first year or two of production so you are probably fine but it still might be a good idea to check.

Thanks for the warning. I just got everything to change all fluids and filters. I'll be checking it out very well this weekend. Along with cleaning up the Cub.
