new member with a 1936 Centaur

Hi I have not had any luck getting the old Leroi engine to start in the 1936 Centaur it have a fresh carburetor furl tank and line and a fresh Wico mag. I hope it is not a compression issue from sitting all those years.

Welcome, I use to play with an old hercules motor with a single barrel updraft carb, couldn't get her to fire. An old timer came by and dumped a full beer bottle of gas in the updraft and she started right up!

How did he dump a beer bottal of gas into the up draft carburetor?
