Hello just joined today. Have a MF20 commercial I use around my place. According to the data plate the seral # is 9A 118872. Not sure if the 72 indicates the year. Need to know how to lookup by serial. Lots of stuff on web but can't find anything specific to the MF20. Tons of stuff on TO 20's and 30's.

The reason that you can't find much info about yoUr tractor is because of how old it is. If it is a MF-20, then TractorData states that it was only made from 1946-1948. You can find the info at: http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/002/9/6/2965-massey-ferguson-20.html .

Thanks for the info, but mine is the yellow MF 20 commercial model with the perkins 40hp diesel with hi/low gearbox. It also has the straight non-adjustable front axel. The guy I purchased it from a few years ago said it was a 1976 model.
