I think maybe I致e finally found the right site to find the answers to my questions. Just bought a JD 970, to use on our 20 acres. Never had a JD before, found it痴 a bit different from a Ford. But I love my tractor!! Husband hasn稚 even had a chance to use it yet, lol.

Welcome. I have a 1070 (one more piston in the engine). I use it for haying, snow plowing, fence post holes, roto-tilling and loader work. Been a good machine. Has needed only a battery, battery cable and a voltage regulator in all my 32 years of ownership.
