new member intro I reckon

I've been reading and lurking a lot lately, looking for info/reviews in the sub compact/compact range of equipment (with a strong look at mahindra's recent offerings esp since there's a dealer ~8 miles away). Currently I'm ignoring ~3.5 acres of overgrowth from previous owners ignoring the 'back 40'. I did find an orange cultivator/tiller back there, along with some sort of other green attachment. unsure of usability of either item, just perks of the purchase I reckon Be nice if I could get the tiller going again, but we'll evaluate that when I get it brought in from the back without destroying it.

In another life (heh, when I have free time), I'm a pretty heavy gear-head and computer nerd. i've got a 600whp volvo that I occasionally race when it's not taken apart for one reason or another, and a couple volvo station wagons. Wife has a prius, so i've gotta offset that :confused2: (ironically, I'm the one growing stuff and doing all the yard work, how's that work?)

I've already cut a fairly wide swath with my 717a ztr and a cheapo lt-1000, the neighbors may move if a tractor shows up. :cool2:

I test drove the MF they had up there, it was nice, there was just a question of availability how I wanted it configured (availability within a given time frame. I wasn't in a rush, but it sounded like it could be a couple of months). Where in mont are you? Me & the wife just moved out to pike road ~ 8 months ago, just absolutely love it.

I got mine through Matthew as well. I live in Millbrook but play with computers in downtown Montgomery. Pike Road has changed a lot since I remember it from the 1990's. I'm seriously thinking of getting a Max 28 HST w/ FEL and BH. The specs are just as good as the MF1529 but with the quality and price you can't beat it! What did you get yours for? The dealer in Troy told me $21,225 but stated he was sure they could do better than that.
