What do you think of this deal...
TC30 4X4 (Gear Drive)
FEL (Rhino 2408) They tell me it's the same as the 7308 NH loader
5' rotary cutter (Woods)
6' Box Blade (I don't know the brand)
16' Tandem axel trailer
All for $16450. 1.9% financing on the whole package.

Judging from the dealers around here (St. Louis area), that's a heck of a deal. I'm just wondering if that sounds like a pretty good one to those around the country as I have to drive about 350 mi. each way to get it.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone here has had any dealing with Alma Tractor and Equipment in Alma/Ft. Smith AR.

Suggest you call/email S&H Tractor in Springfield for a price quote and may be cut your drive in half. Will post their advertised TC 30 package pricing info tomorrow morning first thing. I have one of their ads. Have dealt with the Lockwood, MO location on NH parts and implements, and they seem to be a responsive group of folks. More to follow tomorrow morning, when I have all my facts straight.

Have used the Rhino loader and like it. Think it had a bit more total capacity than the NH loader, and has consistently done the job for us.

I would call Brandon or Steve at Tarheel Tractor N.C. 1-866-728-9719.. Seems to me a bit high..I do not know the price of a 16 ft trailer.. But tractor with loader $13400 +$500 (cutter)+ ?$300 box blade= $14,200 You could rent a trailer and save a few $$. The prices are my reccollection last month when I drove there for my TC 30 with Great bend loader also made by bushhog corp as I understand.. TC 30, NH loader, 5' rotary cutter, 16 ft trailer: $16,250.

That appears competitive with the Ft Smith dealer, and gets you about 150 miles closer.

Thanks for the info.

I called S&H yesterday after you had suggested them. I got bounced around, waited on hold for about 20 minutes, then about 4:50, got disconnedted. I tried to call back, no answer. I'm guessing they just cut me off so they could go home. I'll give them another chance this morning, but I won't abide that kind of treatment.

As for Tarheel, I would love to go there and take advantage of that deal, however, that would be somewhere in the neighborhood of a 1650 mi. round trip. That with the trailer rental I think would eliminate any savings. Plus, I wouldn't have much vacation time left over to play with...I mean make use of the new tractor.

Wow. Can't blame you. Have never dealt with the Springfield location, but was happy with how I was treated at the Lockwood location.

Try the email approach. I got all my implement pricingt info by email and not phone. Received prompt estimates by email from Eric (don't know if he works out of Springfield or Lockwood) -- that was important to me because our farmland is 130 miles from our house, and doing business by email saves time for us. Any dealer who could not respond to me by email received no business from me. Try the email approach and see what happens. Good luck....Roy

I called them this morning and they couldn't be better as far as the phone service goes. The salesman has called me a couple of times when he thought of something he needed to tell me. He is actually driving half way to St. Louis to meet with me this evening. That's about 2hrs each way for him. I'm pretty impressed with the service I have now received. I'm really glad I gave them a second chance. Also, I really appreciate you recommending them.

Can anyone verify if the Rhino is the same. I know others have bought aftermarket brands here on TBN and have not been happy. Others have been happy. My opinion and only my opinion is to buy the manufactures. Don't know if the Rhino is identical or not, but we have the Rhino and it is working out just fine. We got the FEL from a dealer I trust, and because of this, I am sure there will not be any finger-pointing if there's a problem. So, the issue (for us, at least) is not as relevant as it might be for others. It might be best to purchase an NH matched set, but if you purchase a FEL and tractor from the same dealer, and have problems, he's is still expected to make things right for me. I could care less about how he goes about doing that, but I would expect him to correct any problem without giving me any static.
