Well, now i build houses. Even if i have 25 years working designing architectures in Caracas, and teaching in the most important university of the country, i got tired of the city. Two years ago i went away with my family to a far and nice state to start building houses in an special program of the Government. Now i'm building 80 houses (almost 40 finished). We use an aluminium tunnel like formwork, which before you have fixed electric and plumbing installations, is filled with concrete. It's like a cookie mold. With this method we can build 3 houses a week. Well, they need even floor, doors and windows, but in this moment you are sure you have 70 per cent of the house, built.

Here i bought my first toys for the work: a jhonn deere 310 E, (used and well), and, a 763 HF Bobcat.

I keep my job in the University (a very very important work i do), but i have a temporal license for live and work here, far from it.

Let me tell you something about "the type" that we're building here; then i'll tell about the constructive system.

Unlike in your country, where the build's ways comes from sajon's culture and from the deep american's culture, in this one we're building here, " the house type" comes from a particular type born in an original spanish's building ways
. Also, when we build houses IN a city, but not in its suburbs, we build them "cheeck to cheeck". I mean, we build all of them together, Side by side...

This is what you will see here. These are government's houses for humble people, made from that principle: the original architectural's type. This way of life allows to the comunity live and work together, in the heart of the cities.

The system consists in a hand-portable aluminium formwork. Workers build part by part a pair of formworks.

Very interesting and welcome. They used to build some motels near the coast somewhat like that.
