I've used this site many times looking for information for my 1948 Ford 8N and now I also have a new John Deere 4320 with a 400X loader which I use on 6 acres. I recently found a 448 backhoe that is in great shape and put it on the 4320. Now I'm finding that the 3 point doesn't lift high enough to relieve pressure off the pins to remove them. So, now it's time for research and that is why I decided to join this group.

Is this a 3pt mounted BH ?

I'm not understanding "the 3 point doesn't lift high enough to relieve pressure off the pins to remove them"

My BH is 3pt and I use the hoe itself to maneuver it around to align the pins.

Thank you, I'm sure I'll frequent this site often as there is an abundance of information and experience here.
As for my backhoe, it is a John Deere 448 frame mounted which uses the 3 point to lift the back hoe into place when installing or removing. Once in place, there are 2 large "L-pins" which lock the back hoe in place for use. Well, my 3 point arms need to lift approximately another inch to do this properly. Meanwhile, I've been using the stabilizers to assist in the process.
