- Foed Golden Jubilee, Ford 900 Hi-Crop, and Kubota L3000
Just wanted to introduce myself as suggested when I signed up. My name is Donnie and I live in South Louisiana(Arnaudville) on 13 acres. I have a Kubota L3000 that I use more as a lawn tractor. I also own a 1955 or 56 Ford 900 Hi-Crop Tractor that ran on propane. I bought it 25 years ago when I owned 40 acres and I used and abused it to the point where I was having to tinker with it every time I used it. I let it sit in the weather for the past 5 years and I am saving it for parts(that's what we always say). My stepfather left me a Ford Golden Jubilee, and that is what brought me to this site. It has sat outside for several years and doesn't run. I was thinking of just getting rid of the 2 old tractors for scrap, just to get them off my property, but when I went to remove the emblems to hang in my shop, I decided to see if the Jubilee would roll over. I jumped the starter and it spun over easily, so I decided to try and get it running. I look forward to learning more about this model and maybe even contributing one day.
