New member and I NEED guidance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys I currently only own a little lawn tractor a walk behind snow blower a chain saw an A.T.V. and a ton of hand tools.

I am looking at many many small tractors all with MY needs in mind ,.......... I want to mow my grass (pull or mid mount , dosent matter) blow my driveway (150' x 20' asphalt) (3 point blower) I will need a FEL as well to move snow,dirt etc. To help with the fuel costs a bush hog will be needed too (do odd jobs around and i'll use it too!!) Hydro is a must or plenty of ground speeds available to me would be good, pushing a clutch gets old fast!!!!!!!!
Just so you know I grew up driving my grandfather's tractor(s), so full sized tractors I am good I really enjoyed the ole Fiat, but compacts.....................well!

Just to give an idea I've been researching Kubota's BX line, Deere's One series, Masseys 1500s 1600s and thier 1700s (I like them so far) Mahindra's eMax Max and the 1600 series (Seem nice) etc...................I usually gravitate to the 30+ to 40 hp models but I find them ALL not cheap in the least I'm wondering if I should lower my Hp aspirations....................or something else??

I guess my ? is What is good to buy and what is junk? (no cabs....................open deck!)

Sounds to me like you would be better off with a 15 year old 40 hp then with a brand new Bx or 1025/1026 JD. I would look for used bush hog, around here, if not in a hurry, you can find 5 or 6 foot ones for $300-500, rather than $800+.

Major obstacle will be hydrostatic with loader used for anything sane. Don't know anything about snowblowers, I prefer to stay south of artic circle.

In my area there are NO dealers! Closest is Kubota about an hour away, in my travels and research I HAVE seen junk in MY opinion................ Jimna and branson are examples (sorry no insults intended)..........................PH I dont live north of A-C lol just in the snow belt and yes new or slightly used will do!

Branson seems to be good quality but the dealers are just that, dealers, not service shops. I would check Craigslist in your area, for used as well as new; lots of dealers will post their package deals on there.
