I am looking at a New Mahindra 3616 HST w/Cab w FEL. I was given a price, and was wondering how much room is left to negotiate?

$27,727 cash price
$30,127 60 month 0% financing price

Any opinions?

Thanks!

I just Bought a power 85 open station with loader and the dealer told me it would actually cost a lot more to get the o% financing than to finance the tractor through a credit union, almost forty five hundred more so guess what I did. Sounds like o% is just a gimmick that all the brands are using.

You might want to take a look at Kioti if you have a dealer in your area. I just got a quote a few days ago over the phone for a Kioti DK40 HST Cab with FEL, and two rear remotes for $27300.

Jerrold, Welcome to TBN.
I priced several brand tractors at our local farm show last month. I looked at LS, Mahindra, Case, Massey, Kubota, and Deere. One tractor I priced was a 3616HST cab and I was quoted more than the price the OP mentioned.

A week after the show I bought a new LS XR3037HC Cab with a QA loader bucket and a 7'6" snow pusher blade. It is HST. I paid less than the cash price the OP quoted including State sales tax I had to pay not being farm exempt. The LS also came with more factory installed options the other brands would have charged extra for.

That sounds like a good price because the cab is a very expensive option. I found it is much easier to get dealer extras added on for free than a total price reduction.

You could ask for loaded tires, hooks welded on the bucket or other similar options to be added on for the same price.

Also, price is very different if it is a Tier 3 or Tier 4 diesel, about $4000 if it is a newer model. Did the dealer say? A dealer trying to make a quick buck might raise their prices on the older models to that of the newer Tier 4 stuff. I would ask if you don't already know.
