I love the cab too. It's much better than the previous cab I had on the CK20. Lots of bells and whistles on this one. And lots more power. I just need to figure out how to change my name here from kioti guy to something else.

Nice machine! Just curious, why not a new Kioti DK or NX series? What made you choose the Kubota over the Kioti?

Congratulations,I spent yesterday moving rock and dirt with my HST+ Kubota and you're going to love it; nothing against Kioti, very good tractor, in this model/size I prefer Kubota.

Nice machine - congratulations!
Was it this years snow that drove your decision to get the bigger machine?
Oh, yeah - if you learn anything about how to do a name change, please share.

I going to my dealer after work today to try and seal a deal on a new L4060 cab, so I can relate to your excitement!

I was going to get a Kioti NX6010 but it was much more expensive than the price of the Kubota. The DK is not available here in Canada any longer. Because of the difference in the dollar here, any tractor is very expensive now. I have had two Kioti tractors in the past years and had no complaints but I saved a lot of money buying the Kubota. I like the fit and finish of the Kubota versus the Kioti as well. Although in fairness, there is no comparison to the comfort cab on the Kioti to the Grand cab on the Kubota. The Kubota wins hands-down. I have not sat in the NX factory cab to make an accurate comparison to the grand cab on the Kubota but the comfort cab is nowhere near the cab on the Kubota. Also, the Kioti dealer is 4 hours away from me and the Kubota dealer is only 1.5 hours away and the Kubota dealer told me if there were any issues while it was under warranty, they would come fix the machine or take it back and repair it and deliver it back free of charge. You can't beat that - the Kioti dealer does not offer that.

Yes, the past two years here have seen much more snow than average. Right now we still have over five feet of snow in the fields and banks are much higher. I sent a ticket in to see about how to change the name but they have not gotten back to me yet. I hope there is a way of doing that. I think I'm going to watch and wait for that ground hog next February and skin him alive. They said an early spring this year - I wonder what they were thinking. I often thought we were ahead of Alaska weather-wise but not the past few years.

Well a tip of the hat to you. That's a fine looking new rig you have and I hope you have many years of good service from it. I first looked at Kioti equipment about 10 or 12 years ago and it was obvious they were using Kub as a benchmark for what to offer. Not a bad role model IMHO, and the years since have proven Kioti makes some darn good equipment. I'm still a Kub guy but wouldn't hesitate to shop Kioti either. So if you can't get your moniker switched, you're still welcome here, although there might have to be a friendly zinger once in a while! 😊
