New M8540 has arrived

I got a call this morning they were delivering our new tractor and taking the old one. I took pictures of both, but then had to go out of town for a while, so I haven't gotten to drive it yet.

I sure can't. I have a lot of bush hogging to do and that AC sure is going to be nice while I am doing it. I finished up at our other farm Tuesday.

Thanks, I believe it will work well for us. I had them hook it to my bush hog, but didn't get any pictures.

That is one sweet tractor!! I really like the Kubota M series tractors. If I could have afforded a new one an M was at the top of the list. Enjoy it.

Congrats and enjoy and let us know how that A/C works for you - especially this summer when we are actually getting a summer and I am sitting here in the shade of my wide brimmed hat to keep me cool!

Is it my imagination or does the M look a bit beefier in the back end than the Case? And the cab seems to be a bit bigger as well?

Yes, the M Series are nice tractors, but as noted $$$$ and buying it was a really hard decision to make as we certainly are not wealthy.

As to the Case it does appear the Kubota is a beefier machine and the metal hood etc. sure is nice in comparison to the fiberglass and plastic. I don't know if it is "better", but I like it. As to cab size the Case has a roomier interior that I will miss as will my sons who will drive it more than I as they had a buddy seat for a kid in the Case and it won't fit in the Kubota. The Kubota is by no means cramped, just not as big as some.
