Finally did it, and pulled the trigger on a new M59 with top-n-tilt and hydraulic thumb. I am so excited to move dirt I can't sit still. Bought it from Neil Messicks on here.

Won't see it for three weeks though :(

Congrats! That's going to be a super set up. I looked at one last weekend. Noticed a few improvements over the L39's set up. I took a few pics. I'm sure you have plenty but I'll post a few just in case. I have an L39 and some pictures are where I noticed differences. (BTW - date stamp on the camera is a little off)

Also - Here's a little video of the L39 at work with some sandstone. Imagine what the M59 will be able to handle.

No kidding! At least I got a few hours of seat time on the b today to keep me distracted!

Nice video yekrut - that a millonzi 48" grapple? And how much sandstone was on that truck - considering the chunk you were lifting I'm guessing the suspension was at its limit?

Nice new tractor Charles. Two questions: does your girlfriend know yet and when did you stop your meds? Just kidding. It does look like a whole lot of power compared to the B3030. Probably even a bigger jump than what I took with my CK20 to DK40se switch last year.

What are you going to do about the grapple? 4000lb lift will be the strongest loader I've heard of anyone using if you do use the LD48. You and I have the older style which doesn't have quite as much reinforcement as the newer LD48 too.

Are you planning to keep the M59 just to finish construction/clearing and then revert to the B3030?

Yep - Millonzi LD48.

We had it packed pretty full. I'd say 4 to 5 tons. Actually pulled a 7 tons trailer with 3 pallets on it too. Ford 450 Dump is pretty stout. Had about 60 tons total. Short trips - about 10 miles - a little curvy but no hills.

Funny you should ask that! Yes, my gf does know. I left the quote in her car by accident, and received quote "I saw your tractor price in the car. You know I'm not supposed to see things like that". I had to reassure her that the new tractor was highly necessary. :p

Probably keep the b and the m, but we'll see. The b is a really nice tractor, I hate to give it up. And plus, when I posted the question on here all the nice, helpful, objective people here assured me that having 2 tractors was a good thing!

Meds? I thought the tractors were meds. That's why there are so many doctors on here :D

oh, on the millonzi I guess I'll push it to its limit and see what happens - yekruts video makes me feel pretty good about that.

I'd just be careful about centering loads and not twisting the grapple. You should be able to uproot just about any 5 inch and under tree with that combo.
