Kubota L 3560 HSTC, 805 Loader
Never thought I would trade my green paint.....but I did today. Will be taking delivery of a L3560HSTC in another week or so......and did I mention I will have a CAB? Grin. :)

Getting a 805 loader and 3rd function kit to operate my grapple. Also getting rear remotes for a hydraulic top cylinder (which I will add at some point). I like allot of the features in the Kubota product......and hope it treats me well. That auto throttle and such is pretty nice kit.

I think the extra weight and width (over the JD comparison) will bode well for me on my property. If I were looking for lawn maintenance.....I may have gone to the Deere product (3039R) but my work is light farming, trail maintainace, light forestry, (its all about deer hunting land) so this becomes a tad larger size for similar money. Will get a pic or two when I receive the unit.

Thanks for all the good information that has been posted here on these tractors.....did a fair amount of reading here recently......and the information was very helpful!! May have a question or three as time goes by.

Add the hydraulic toplink sooner than later. They are that handy & the valves Kubota uses usually suck that bad. I and many others have been fighting valves that leak like sieves & let anything connected to them extend or retract in under an hour at times. A 5 year warranty gives you a decent window to get it fixed, but it might take your dealer a pile of valves to find one that doesnt suck.

Hah, I hope it wasn't the link I last shared that put you over the edge, exciting times.

How far out are you from delivery? We're 6-8 week on our L4760 but that's because they had to order it directly from the factory.

AGREE w/ Fallon, Hyd Top Link is a great innovation. Kubota valves do leak down, I blamed the top link cylinder , was beyond warranty when I read Fallon's diagnosis of the REAL culprit.

Jeffy should have purchased a cab w/ his same model, then he could stop complaining about hot weather mowing. Cabs work well in ALL Climates., even in the woods, see video below.

Mike at You Tube channel, Outdoors with the Morgan's, most recent video, ten things he has learned ??.., that a cab tractor is really sweet., and CAN be compatible w/ working in the woodlots.

I drove a L3560, similar LS and TYM. For me the L3560 was just a better tractor. HST and loader controls were much smoother. More expensive, but better IMO. If they made the L3560 or L4060 in a turbocharged model, I would seriously consider it.

I'm about a weak or ten days from taking delivery. The tractor is at the dealer.....and they need to put some valves on.....add fluid, instal the loader, and re-fit my grapple to the new rig. I will order a hydraulic top link as soon as I figure out the right one for me. I'd like to buy from Brian at fit-right....but his lead-times are crazy lately.

Hah, you're lucky. When I was looking there was only 2 grand l in the western part of WA and not a single one without a cab.

That's basically the L5060/L5460, if I recall my conversation with a dealer correctly the L4701/Lxx60/MXxx00 all use the same base 4-cyl diesel. It's just different mappings + turbo at the higher end.

Lately? You mean the past few years. ;-) Still worth it though.
