Just bought a new B7500 hydro. Package includes a Kubota LA272 loader, 16 foot trailer, Woods RB60 rear grader blade, Woods GB48 box blade, and Woods RD6000 finish mower. All for less than $16,000. Paid a little more at the dealer I chose, but I liked him better. I have been taking care of my 4 acres (hills, trees and rocks galore) for over 2 years now with a 42" rider and a rake, a shovel and a wheel barrel. I am looking forward to saving many mowing hours and much back pain, it currently takes around 10 hours now just to mow. I don't take delivery for 4 days, so I don't think I'll get much sleep. This is my first tractor. I shopped JD and New Holland, but liked the Kubota best. It seems I get the most bang for the buck.

Congratulations. You're going to love it. Now fill in more of your profile. I'm guessing from you name that you're either in or from Oklahoma (I'm a native of Ardmore myself).

Hi Kubotaokie,

I got my first real tractor last summer...a Kubota B2910...I know the feeling!

You will be amazed at what a real tractor can do for you! Sounds like you got a good compliment of implements too. I wish I would have went with the 72 inch rear mower though. I have the same RD6000 as you bought.

Not sure if you can use the 72 inch on the B7500, but I wish I had the extra six inches on each side sometimes. My tractor is wider than the 7500 though, so perhaps you will find the 60" just perfect for you.

Welcome to the world of real tractors...it's a good place!

You are correct, Bird. I am from Davenport. It's the small town life for me.

I think the 60" mower will be big enough. Any bigger and mowing between trees gets difficult. I rented a tractor (Kubota) with a front end loader and box blade one time since the property purchase. Luckily for me, the hour meter was broken, and i spent many more hours on that tractor than the 8 hour rental time. Ever since then I have wanted one of my own. I finally decided to make the dreams a reality. Now that we have gotten over the initial money shock of building a new house, it is time to have some fun.

Good for you! I think my B7500 is a terrific machine. Have fun.

Congradulations,

Sounds like your going to be saving major time in the future.

When it comes in, I'd like to see some pictures of it.

Best of luck.

kubotaokie-congratulations on your new purchase. You'll really enjoy the B7500. I bought mine last August and I can assure you it's going to be a real timersaver for you. Especially going up and down those Oklahoma Hills. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Patrick,

I assume they are on the scroll region a little farther down after the "post box" window. On your browser. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Oh, one of my first after market pieces of equipment for my B7800 was a tilt-meter.

I think that is a good idea for your terrain, you should look into it.
