Coming-Kubota B2410
I am a new member, and new to tractor purchasing, but have been here, reading for several weeks. The decision between the BX2200 & B2410 went to the B2410. Thanks for all the great information. JimBin got me seriously looking at Blue TC21 they have a great line, but I felt the price & extra HP of the Kubota more suited my needs. Trying them all out sure is important. Does anyone know of any winches that would work with the B2410? Looking at the web-site mentioned in AndyR's post showed minimum HP 25. Thanks.

WVBorzoi,
No idea about winches, but I'm wondering about the 3-4 weeks. Is that how long your dealer says it'll take to get one delivered? I ordered one 11 days ago (but who's counting?), and I keep hoping it'll show up any day.

I guess I was Lucky. I made the deal on mine on a saturday and picked it up the following Monday. The dealer had 4ea. of the tractor I wanted. Even with that, the sunday was a long day.

WVBoroi,
Welcome to TBN and congratulation on your new B2410.
Does your dealer offer pamphiets on winchs, and maybe the service tech could give you a hint or two.
Just keep in mind about your B2410 warranty.
What kind of attachments did you also purchase..FEL,mower,blade etc..

You may want to look at a Farmi winch. Minimum is 17 hp.

The US importer is at:http://www.valbysales.com/

Good Luck!

I appreciate the winch info. Tractor is coming with a 60" belly mower, rear blade, & 48" brush hog-for that wooded area, formerly timbered & full of briars that I need to clean-up.

Farmi's have an excellent reputation. Norse and Farnsgard are also popular and somewhat less expensive. I looked at all three and decided on the Farmi (351P). It's clearly built in a more ruggid way and was only slightly more expensive. I'm sorry to say I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but hopefully soon. The snow is too deep for me to get through it right now.

The Farmi 351 is probably a bit too big for the 2410. I'm using mine on a 2910. They make a smaller model (250 maybe?) that would be a better fit, I suspect.

Re: winch

I'm planning on hooking up my MileMarler hydraulic to a B7500. It's a 12,000# winch (major overkill) but I already own it & it's on a 2" receiver mount.

Does anyone make a receiver hitch for the front of a Kubota or do I have to fab my own?

Re: winch

I've never seen a front receiver attachement for the kubota's so you may need to fab it yourself.

With 12,000lbs of pull, be carefull you don't damage the front of the tractor when you use that winch.
