New Kubota 2007, L 3240, Is this a good price?

I am planning on buying a Kubota Tractor, model L3240 with a LA514 Loader with quick-attach and BH75A Backhoe. This tractor has been in the dealers inventory since June 2007. The price is $28,000 and 42 month insurance is $950. Are these quotes good prices?

Seems quite high to me, especially for a tractor that has been sitting around since last June. I bought a L3240 in late January and have had it for about a month now (it's an incredible tractor). Here is the package I got:

L3240HST w/ R1's
LA724 Loader w/ Quick Tach
L2296 72" HD bucket
BH90 Backhoe w/ subframe
BT2903 18" Bucket

My pre-tax price was $26,495. I ended up adding 2 worklights and got a used box blade in addition to that. The worklights have been extremely effective, as the front headlights aren't worth much with the loader in the way.

I also highly recommend spending the extra couple dollars for the bigger loader and the bigger backhoe. You get a LOT more capacity and ability for just a couple more dollars. Check around at some other dealers - I'm not sure where you are in the country. You may even want to consider buying out of state if you find better deals elsewhere.
