Hello everyone.

New to the site though I’ve been lurking around while researching and reading up on tractors. I just took possession of a Kioti CS2210 with loader. When trying to offload it from the trailer I pulled the 3pt hitch lever control back to lift the arms and nothing happened. Locked it in and still nothing. Ended up having to tie the rear links up to get it off the trailer.

Leaving the lever locked in the raise position I used the tractor for a bit using the FEL and driving around. I noticed eventually the arms were raised. Lowering them and pulling the lever back doesn’t do anything still.

I think a connection could be wrong when the FEL was installed maybe? I noticed the hydraulic oil is a little low on the dip stick (little less than 1/2 way to the full mark) not sure if that matters.

There are 3 lines that come off the FEL valve and head to the back. Anyone know the which hose is to go where so I can rule that out as the issue? The lowering speed lever for the arms is not locked out, first thing I checked.

TIA of any advice you may have

THEre should be a knob between your feet that controls the speed of the three pt if it is tuurned in to far the 3 pt wont move. it is used for transporting an implement on the rear so it wont bounce up and down on the hydraulics.

Thank you for the reply. I checked this first to make sure it wasn’t locked out. It’s roughly in the middle of its range.

Probably not the problem, but I'll throw this out just in case. Does the tractor have a set (or two) of Kioti rear remote valves installed? If so, the first is possibly a detent-style valve. Make sure the lever that operates it has not been left in the detent position (e.g., pushed all the way forward). That would cause deadheading of that circuit and interfere with other hydraulic functions, e.g. the FEL and perhaps the 3pt hitch. :scratchchin: It's unlikely the cause here, since you say you were able to operate the loader. Also, deadheading of the pump will make an unusual noise, but if you're new to the tractor you might not realize it.

Thanks for the reply. It does not have the rear remotes, the spot for the control lever is empty and no rear remote lines I can see off the back. I’ve never owned or operated an HsT tractor before but do have a background in hydraulics from years ago. I know what hydraulic oil sounds like when being bypassed by the relief. Not sure if I’m hearing that or just the whine that the HST makes when driving forward and back. I’ll snap some pics of the way my lines are. Maybe someone who has a CS2210 or 2410 could compare to their install to help me out? (Provided I have the permissions to post pics)

Asked my purchasing dealer about the issue but waiting to hear back. Thanks again.

There are three lines attached to my loader control that are not quick connect. Labelled 1,2,3. They all run to the back of the tractor underneath. Attached is a photo of the 3pt lifting valve and rear case. The lines are labeled 1,2,3 for which hose goes where. Anyone have a unit they can compare to see if it is different? Thank you again.

Good luck with this. It's no doubt something simple. Pls. keep us posted.

BTW, welcome to TBN!

In the event this happens to someone else #2 and #3 needed to be swapped (tank return and power beyond). Works beautifully now. My concern is whether running the machine with the these opposite has caused any harm?

Thank you all!

That's odd (but not really?) a dealer would make that mistake. I don't know that I'd trust them for warranty work after that. But...I suppose they did eventually figure it out.

I agree it is strange that this happened when they literally PDI a hundred tractors a year. Probably ran all three back at once rather then 1 at a time and got them confused. Simple mistake I guess. Once I sent the pictures with labels above I got a response with the correct routing. Obviously the rear arms got a check mark even thought they couldn’t have worked.

In any case it’s all fixed up now and ready to work
