I have TWO New Holland tractors. But the other day I saw a John Deere. It seemed to fit the bill of what I needed. Price was a little high but not bad. I figured I could get over the color and become a proud JD owner.
So I bought it. A nice little compact 2WD tractor. My neighbors were absolutely shocked to see a green and yellow tractor in my yard. and When I buried that left rear wheel up to the hub and had that thing stuck stuck stuck. We all just cringed. 2WD what was I thinking.
Course I didnt see a 4WD model. Not sure they have one. After all I dont really think a little lawn sprinkle tractor is supposed to get stuck pulling a 100' of hose around the yard. Guess since I had only 3 weeks earlier graded the place and I am watering in the seed this was to be expected.
Of course this little tractor getting stuck in my yard sure did make me glad that I hadn't gone through with the idea of stripping the paint and making it blue.
I would hate for my neighbors to see a helpless blue.
Well I hope you found this little rant entertaining. All in good fun. I really have nothing against or for one color to another.
