Kubota L4330 GST
Being a novice with hydraulics, and while my Kubota is at the dealer, I asked for a set of rear and front hydraulics to be installed. It's a 10 year old L4330 with a woods FEL on it.
What should I expect them to do.
This tractor is at a satellite locatation, and I am doing this over the phone.
I've read a little on line here about 3rd function, directional vs. diverted valve for the front?
open or closed. VS. feathered?
Dealer said they would add a button to hydraulic lever.
It's not s pistol grip set up, just an old style rod that angles up from the loader area with a ball on the end.

This is what they have done so far. Does this look like a quality standard retrofit?

Is it a quality product? Link states that the control is either open or close, no feathering. Is there a limit switch that adjusts how hard the grapples close? In thinking wood VS rocks. I do like that I can do all three operations at the same time.

Yes, quality kit-many have them, do a search here and you can read tons about them. No, there is no feathering or limit switches. There are really no solenoid valve that allow feathering as they are either open or closed.

The only way to get feathering is to use a diverter valve, or another spool valve, neither of which will let you do three functions at once.

Do some searching, tons of info on everything your asking.

Using a 3rd function valve, you can do three functions at the same time if you only use half pump flow for the FEL.

The other half of pump flow can be used for the 3rd function valve.

If you use full pump flow for the FEL, then there is no fluid left for the 3rd function valve. All fluid is passing to the OUT port during the time you are using the FEL.

Is 3/8" the standard for couplings, or 1/2"?
