New homeowner looking for tractor

I'm a new homeowner that just built a house and I'm hoping to find a small workhorse tractor that would have a bucket, brush hog, tiller, grader mainly for doing landscape work around my 5 acre property. Other than having a John Deere lawn tractor, I'm new to the tractor world. Is it possible to get a decent tractor with those options for around $3000? I found a 15 hp diesel Mitsubishi Beaver with those attachments, but I'm not sure what that would be worth. If anyone has any info/suggestions to get me on the right track, I'd appreciate it! Or if you could tell me what kind of tractor I should be looking for that would give me those options, that would be great.

The Mitusbishi Beaver is a "Category 0" tractor. These are essentially turf mowers that can do limited tasks besides mowing turf. Most are sold with mid-mount mower. (MMM) Not enough power for landscaping, especially grading. Some Category 0 tractors have a Power Take Off (PTO) to power a Bush Hog and Tiller, SOME DO NOT. Fine for one or two flat acres.

For five acres you need a "Compact Utility Tractor" (CUT) with a "Category 1" three point hitch, for which effective implements are widely available new and used. Compact Tractors have PTO and usually have four wheel drive. (4-WD)

Consider how much ground clearance you need. Sub-compact (Category 0) tractors generally have nine inches of ground clearance. That limits landscape work. Compact (Category 1) tractors have from twelve to fourteen inches of ground clearance. If you have woods, you will want at least twelve inches ground clearance.

You probably want a Front End Loader (FEL), that most useful of tractor options.

There is nothing wrong with a used, well maintained, diesel tractor. You will want 4-WD for landscape work, some Beavers are 2-WD, some 4-WD. Mitusbishi is not a main line tractor brand in USA. Are Mitsubishi SERVICE and PARTS available in Sioux Falls, South Dakota? How skilled are you at diesel and hydraulic repairs? Offer $3K for that little Beaver if you like it and see what happens. That's the fast way to get a feeling for the price ballpark. Maybe you'll luck out and get it for $3K.
