I agree Raspy .. but only that for me it was about the dealer. Any one of the mainline tractors are about the same.. well almost to me its te dealer her. I went to green, orange, red and blue... My experience with dealers went this way (btw I was never to any of these dealers previously so no knowledge of any of them) .. Orange - dealer said to me when I walked in "what did I want? to buy a tractor" well if there is one on the floor you like fine otherwise comeback another time..( Hmmm ok no customer value - Check done) Green: Walked in door dealer said hello what are you interested in.. Hmmm Don't know yet.. well when you do.. I'll sell it to you.. WOW - OK NOPE... Red: Good day what can i do for you.. I am looking for a CUT or SCUT tractor. We have both here are our models. price is retail as listed 'wont find anytractor cheaper" hm well next.. Blue: Good morning How can I help you... ( I gave same answer) dealer started by asking what I was looking for, and what I knew about differences in tractors etc. then asked said how many acres to you own or want to mow, when else do you want to do.. FEL, Backhoe, mow, brush hog etc...do you know anything about diesel vs gas etc.. The dealer took all the time to ask questions and educate.. BEST customer experience I had with any dealer. Next he said he would not sell me a tractor but asked if he could bring me a demo tractor for a week or 2 and only asked for a realistic shot at the business. . the rest is history.. 8 years later and 2 blue tractors.. My New Holland dealer. New Holland of Binghamton NY is the dealer.. I am fortunate to have a great dealer. although the sales guy retired to work his own farm full time the new manager is equally as amazing. True customer service.. I am a blue guy for certain but truely believe each color has its own pros and cons but it really comes down to dealer support and location to dealer.
