New Holland UTV???

Does anyone "in the know" or out-of-the-know, heard of any talk of New Holland coming out with a UTV to compete with Deere and Kubota? That would be great, as I am a New Holland fan, and would love to see another Hydro trans machine to give yet another option. I have not heard anything myself, but would love to. What are your thoughts?

Are you saying that Deere is coming out with an Hydro machine in '07??

I wouldn't own another New Holland if they payed me! My LX665 Turbo was just 10 days out of warrenty, with just over 50 hours, when the electrical system crashed (the first time). They told me "sorry about your luck"! I bought it new in 99 and currently it has 350 hours and has been dead more than alive. Picked it up a month ago along with a $593 bill for yet another electrical shut down. New Holland=money pit! Just had to get that off my chest but........it's the only recoarse I have for such terrible experience with this so-called company!

I guess I worded that wrong... What I meant was that it would be great to have hst like Kubotas, and to have a vehicle line to compete with them and Deere. I'm not sure about Deere coming out with one though; sorry about that! That would be great if Deere does so in the future though.

Sorry about your experience! How hard did you try to push the issue with your dealer and/or New Holland about that? I would have been on them for a while and tried to irritate them enough for them to do the right thing and fix it for nothing. I'm glad that you at least got to vent here though.

New Holland has talked about a UTV for years, but nothing has ever come of it. Frankly, I think it would be stupid of them to bother. Its a totally saturated market and I don't think they could turn a descent profit from it.

Whether or not New Holland believes there is room in the marketplace for them or if they believe they can take market share away from others, they are at least putting time and effort into it...
