New Holland tc55da hydraulic pump removal?

My pump seal let go filling crankcase. Would some one please tell me the correct procedure to remove my pump. Do you remove the power steering pump? does the radiator need to be removed? I can only reach the outside two nuts on the studs, the inside 2 seem to be bolts and are impossible to get a wrench on. I just bought this tractor and have not picked up the pricy service manual yet. I have the main pump body off but not the front flange that has the shaft seal.

Why are you posting such a specific question in the general hydraulics forum. Have you not bothered to look down and see there is a New Holland forum? If that is an example of your attention to detail, then you need to take your tractor to a dealer to get the job done before you screw it up and cost yourself much more than the price of a manual. If you went to the NH forum, you could search and find details of replacing the pump. Someone would probably even give you a link to a post where I posted photos. However, if you are happy with the info you get in a general forum from people who are not familiar with your tractor, then go for it.

Sorry for being so brutally honest, but sometimes you just have to call somebody out.

well gee i am sorry, my first post, and i get ripped royal. i am 90 miles from the only dealer, and not willing to trailer out of the mountains in winter if i don't have to. Nice tone to a new member.

Thanks John, but I am not having "one of those days." Why would I want to help somebody by spending all kinds of time looking up details and giving him step-by-step instructions when he doesn't even bother trying to see how these forums work? Notice that he couldn't bother explaining why he posted in the general forums? He's 90 miles from a dealer and can't be bothered to buy the maintenance manual. Then, he comes on here and asks us for detailed instructions. My intolerance just matches his arrogance. If he expects us to participate in helping him do a repair, he should be willing to participate in these forums instead of doing a "drive-by" post.
