New Holland TC45DA
It only comes on after working the tractor hard for some time. Then it quits again on the next startup. Have checked switch on dash, fuse and wiring looks ok. Need help locating the flasher unit which is likely the problem. Any help is appreciated.

When it's acting up does the LH turn signal work properly?

I attached the section of the service manual for troubleshooting the flasher unit. Here is the relay layout.

Here is the flasher location.

Probably the flasher, did you replace the bulb? It could do that.

Thanks so much. Big help in locating the module. I will take a shot at replacing the bulb as well.

Also, I did try swapping out one of the other relays of the same type with #3 and that made no difference. I do think the problem is in the flasher module.

Check section 55, Chapter 1 pages 49-50-51 of above posted PDF....

I see what you are indicating as the "Flasher control module", however, I am still not able to locate it. Please see the attached photo and see if you can spot it. I am just being thick I think.

May flasher circuits are design to initiate flasher operation by current flow (amperage draw) through flashier, through switch, through lamp.... I would reinspect the wiring and check any inline connectors for looseness or corrosion... INCLUDING the lamp socket and lamp ..... The circuit really starts at the ground of the lamp socket!...

Primitive but simple design (example) for a flasher circuit.... Yes primitive but it will suffice for street legal dune buggy or hot rod or any vehicles you need turn signals for...
