If it was working fine then suddenly went belly up after transporting it, I would look to see if there is a quick connect hydrualic line that is loose. Disconnect everyone and firmly reconnect. Then try it again.

Do you have remote hydraulics in addition to the backhoe? If you do, check that the lever is not sticking, causing it to not return to center. Your FEL is before the remotes in the open center system, but the 3PH and backhoe are after the remotes I believe.

Also, sometimes the loader valve itself has a power beyond plug that loosens.
Here is a thread that talks about it. I think it would have the same effect on your backhoe. I've attached a diagram that shows where to check for this.

EDIT: Just a suggestion. A specific question like this will normally get quicker and better responses if you post it in the New Holland/Ford Owning/Operating forum. I just happened to look and see your post as I was scrolling down the page. This forum is for general repairs that would apply to all tractors. It's okay that you put your question here, but in the future, you might be happier with the responses by placing specific questions in the NH forum.:)

Chances are a plug has come out inside your loader control valve. Underneath one of the outlet fittings (either the PB fitting or the 'OUT' fitting) is an Allen headed plug that keeps the PB flow from comingling with the 'out" or 'Tank' flow. This plug has probably backed out and is allowing PB oilflow to instead go directly back to the reservior.

RickB and others, the OP told me in a PM that his Allen head plug was the problem and he has his tractor repaired and operating normally.
