New Holland TC29D accelerator boost pedal not working.

My accelerator boost pedal on a TC29D is not working, no change in the engine RPMs when stepping on it. Any assistance on causes and repairs is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Follow the linkage from the pedal up to where it connects to the throttle linkage. Look for any loose or disconnected attachment points.

It's a very simple set up.... some tractors use rods, some cables, some both. That's where to start looking....

I had a TC33D and it never had a "boost pedal". Where is it located and how does it work with a hydro trans?

I have a manual transmission, it is located basically where your hyrdo transmission accelerator pedal is located, on the right side by the brake pedals.

Update, did as you suggested, found that the cable ball end had come out of the bracket to the accelerator. The set screw had worked its way lose, threaded it back on and stayed in place. Big thank you!!

I'm pretty sure that the TC29D was hydrostatic and the TC29 was the gear model.

Yep. If he has a manual transmission, then it is not a "D"
