New Holland TC24D

I have a New Holland TC24D Tractor with a backhoe attachment. When I apply the parking brake, the indicator light does not come on all the time. thus when I get out of the seat to use the backhoe, the engine shuts down from the seat safety switch. Is there a brake safety switch? And where would it be located? Any help would be great .

New Holland TC24D Safety Switch?

I have a New Holland TC24D with a backhoe attachment. When I apply the parking brake, the indicator light does not always go on. Thus when I leave the seat to use the backhoe the safety switch for the seat shuts the tractor down in 2 seconds. Is there a brake safety switch located somewhere that might be faulty or need adjustment? And where would it be located? Any help would be appriciated. Thanks!

Make sure you press the brake pedal down far enough to make the light come on. I have the same thing on my Class I unless I push a little harder.

yeah sometimes you really got to stomp on the thing. then mine usually doesn't hit the neutral safety switch and kills the engine too ...annoying!
