New holland lb75b tlb any good?

Hi,
Just looking at tractor/loader/backhoes and was wondering if the new holland backhoes were any good?
Looking at a 2005 lb75b open station extendable with 850 hours.
They also have a 2008 b95b with cab and more hours at twice the price.
Any opinions on these models or the newer New Holland hoes would be appreciated.

Both have been very good machines, with few issues. I was wondering what options the B95B had besides the cab. Such as a/c, extendable dipper, pilot controls, power shift.

Both machines will do about the same amount of work, with the 95 having a little more hydraulic performance and pushing power.

850 hours on the LB75.B is not many at all. I've been seeing over 4000 hours with decent maintenance and working in rocky conditions.

I bought a 2005 LB75B 4wd last fall with 3769 hours on the clock. The BH pins are a bit loose, but it also has a quick-attach on the backhoe bucket. One of the final drives on the left front had a leak and one rear axle seal also was leaking. I told the dealer I would pay his asking price ($22.5k) if he would fix all the problems and do a complete service. He pressure washed the machine and cleaned it up nicely plus he replaced the boom lock cable and put on a new shuttle switch. After the tractor was here a week, the injector pump started leaking at the front manifold. He came and picked up the tractor, fixed the problem, and delivered it back to me, no charge.

The tractor had a bad starting relay. I found it had filled up with sand due to a crack in the case. After replacing the relay ($10 from Grainger) the tractor starts like a new one.

I'm approaching 200 hours since I bought the tractor and really love it. I made sure every grease zerk would take grease and I keep it lubed. I had one hose blow and replaced that for a little less than $100, but hoses can be expected to fail from time-to-time. I love the simplicity of this tractor and the fact that it doesn't have a lot of electronics. It's a nice, simple machine that works very well. The 1.3 yard bucket is a hoss. In my opinion, a good tractor with no problems is worth $20k to $25k depending on how tight the tractor is and how everything works. I just love hitting the key and having it start right up without touching anything. It's hard working and reliable.

Mine's been great 6,500 hours and no complaints really. The cab is really nice, although I had to replace the leaking roof. I have "space-shuttle" gauge display and the alt gauge acts funny sometimes. Hydraulics are sick powerful on mine. Blows away previous Case and Ford backhoes I had. FEL full of material raised all the way and is very stable. If you get a good deal, go for it. Usually the engines are New Hollands, some made by Iveco.

Mine generally gets bashed & abused here on TBN (with no recourse)and called names like "Walmart excavator" and trashed by mini-ex owners, etc., but after operating both machines for over 10,000 hours, I can assure you a NH backhoe is a nice versatile machine.
