New Holland LB75.B Main Boom Lock

The main boom lock on my New Holland LB75.B will not stay locked anymore. When pressure is applied on the lock by the main boom the lock will lift. Any ideas why this has started happening? (Just an idea shock absorber has lost spring tension)

Issue has not been resolved. I changed out the shock absorber but it did not correct the issue. It appears to be the tie rod (part# 87302965) but I do not understand how. Any advice, insight, or suggestions is welcomed.
