It started blowing the #1 fuse labeled "Relay" randomly every 15-30 minutes but got more frequent the longer I used it. It didn't matter whether the PTO was on or off. Put a new fuse in and would start right up and run untill the the fuse would blow again. My guess is the fuel cut off solenoid is bad being that it is supplied by Safety Switch. Just trying to have thought this through because tractor is two hours away in area with no internet access. Thanks in advance for replies.
Got the service manual and found this:
Fuse Functions
1. The #1, 10 amp fuse, sends current three directions:
キ Terminal "15A" of the safety controller ( 12V input power input)
キ Terminal "15" of the seat switch
キ Terminal "15A" of the mid PTO switch
Safety Switch Functions
1. When the PTO switch is in the ON" position, the PTO switch disconnects the ground path for terminal "60" of the
safety controller. The PTO switch completes the ground path for the PTO solenoid valve and the PTO indicator
light of the instrument panel.
2. When the transmission is in either forward or reverse the Forward / Reverse switch is in the "OPEN " position, the
switch disconnects the ground path for terminal "13" of the safety controller.
3. When the mid PTO is in the "ON" position, the mid PTO switch is open, not providing current to terminal "61" of
the safety controller.
4. When the operator is present in the seat. the set switch closes, providing current to terminal "45" of the safety
controller.
Safety Controller Functions
1. With current supplied to terminal "15A" and ground source provided to terminal "OJ" the safety controller is energized.
2. With ground source not supplied to terminal "13" by the Forward / Reverse switch and terminal "60" not supplied
ground source by the PTO switch. Current is not supplied to terminal "61" by the mid PTO switch. Current is
supplied to terminal "45" by the seat switch, the safety controller functions as follows:
3. Current is supplied to terminals "57" and "57A" of the fuel cut-off relay by terminal "57" of the safety controller.
